Brands are always talking about how they can harness the power of social media. Whilst some are pondering, IKEA together with Forsman and Bodenfors, went out and created a Facebook campaign for the launch of their new Malmo store.
In short, they created a new Facebook profile for the store manager, uploaded some showroom images and, using Facebook's immensely popular "tagging" feature, encouraged users to "tag" objects. The first people to tag an object got to take it home. Brilliant. The video highlights the campaign in far more detail.
