Concentrating on three key themes of health, skills and child attainment, DataJam North East will demonstrate the potential for improving life in the region when data, collaboration and actionable outcomes are the focus. It is One Team Government in action. The start of an ongoing collaboration between public sector, academia and beyond.
Why are we getting involved?
When we heard that DataJam was taking place, we knew it would be the perfect opportunity to share our ongoing work on the future of smart cities and our research into improving citizen interaction. Orange Bus are not just influencing but driving change and progression within cities, and it’s a chance for us to demonstrate our thorough approach to user research, innovation and delivery. We’re excited to see the outcomes from these two days!
What will we be showcasing?
We’re encouraging people to come and hear about our recent work in three key areas: citizen interaction, smart cities and voice user interaction (VUI). These will take the form of short and engaging lightning talks. Following these talks, we’ll be welcoming participation in a journey mapping activity that will help us contribute towards the build of our citizen database. We’ll also be manning a stand over both days so please come and chat to a member of the team if you’re interested in finding out more about what we do.
And the best part is, we’re providing the social evening!
Yep, you heard it. Join us after the first day for a part-funded evening over at bespoke bar and restaurant, Earl of Pitt Street. Trust us when we say that it is just around the corner! This is where the conversation will continue over a drink and some nibbles - the perfect opportunity to network and share ideas.
We hope to see you there! If you haven’t got your free ticket yet, and want to hear about the exciting work going on at Orange Bus, sign up here.
